Introduced in 1907. Discontinued in 1917. A graphically pleasing composition of early wooden automobile wheels (not bicycle wheels). A rare deck. While the first release date is 1907, I do have an early deck with a “J” date code on the joker, which corresponds to 1906. Depending on what time of year it was printed, a deck that was on the press in 1906 might not have been released until the following year.

Pictured below is a similar back design produced by Andrew Dougherty. The Dougherty example features wagon wheels, both on the back and on the beautiful trademark “Tally-Ho” ace of spades.

The next image shows the recent USPCC reproduction of the All Wheel deck, which was produced in a limited edition of 2500 decks. It is called “All Wheel Back No. 2,” which confused me at first because it is not a variation on the All Wheel original and therefore shouldn’t be called “No. 2.” It finally dawned on me that the “No. 2” is in reference to Mrs. Robinson’s numerical designation of all the Bicycle backs in her pamphlet for Bicycle playing card collectors, and which I use to catalogue the cards on this website. A better title might have been “All Wheel – Back No. 2.” For a time, uncut sheets of the All Wheel reproduction were available. I have never seen an uncut sheet of an original early deck of Bicycle cards, which would certainly be an incredible artifact to have.

The next image shows a single card from my collection with a similar theme. Indeed, like All Wheel, it features a composition of nine wheels. This was purchased from a UK-based seller, so it is reasonable to assume it was of British manufacture.

In 2025 I acquired a 1906 All Wheel deck from the UK, the first I have seen that was released in Britian. The box and cards are pictured below. As indicated on the box, this deck has beautiful gilded edges.
